This book gives a descriptive analysis of the constitutional philosophy, political aspirations, economic and cultural endeavours of Indian people in the post independence period. In the aftermath of freedom, Indian leadership had tried to modernize India polity economy and culture. Planned efforts were made to achieve economic and cultural targets. This book highlights some of the major achievements of India in the agricultural, industrial and cultural fields during the last fifty years.
