Divided into various sections, the Section I deals with a brief on the Indian Pharma Industry, a write up on the Central Drugs Standard Control Organisation, updated list of the Drug Controllers of various states, list of companies undertaking Clinical Trails and Pharmaceutical Organisations and Associations. It also includes lists of Analytical Laboratories and Pharma Consultants. Section II deals with the Past and Present Scenario of Pharmaceutical Education in India followed by a state wise list of Pharmacy Institutes in India which are approved by the AICTE and PCI. There are also given addresses of some foreign institutes country wise who are offering courses in Medicine and Pharmacy. This is followed by a list of the offices of the Pharmaceutical Councils of India, state wise. Also given is a list of Indian and Foreign Pharma books and journals and some important websites. Section III covers manufacturers of bulk drugs, name and addresses along with their product list. It also includes a list of approved bulk drugs registered with the DCGI, in a new format. The next section-Section IV deals with the Pharma Allied Industry. The section has two parts – Part I includes names, addresses and products of Pharma machinery and packaging material.
