Social relationships might be institutional such as familial, marital etc. they may be communal such as rural, urban etc. They might be structural or concerned with social classes. These classifications of social problems deter-mine the field or sphere of social problems. Marital problems are the problems of tensions between males and females or opposite. These lead to marital disorganization, divorces, prostitution etc. Familial problems are due to familial tensions. These include family disorganization or broken families resulting into crime, juvenile delinquency, alcoholism and drug addiction etc. The tensions in social stratification, the imbalance among social classes lead to classism, casteism, untouchability etc. Besides, some economic maladies, imbalances, tensions and malpractices disrupt normal and healthy social relationships and create social problems such as beggary, unemployment, poverty, problems of industrialization and urbanization and urbanization and finally the labour problems. Then, there dare problems due to group tensions. These groups may be racial, regional, geographical or national etc. Tensions among them lead to the social problems of regionalism, linguism, communalism, racialism etc. The above explanation of the nature of social problems shows the need of their remedies. Of course most of the social problems can be solved by increasing natural understanding among members of society. Increase in integrative processes of social interaction is the most important means of the solution of social problems. Of these the most important are cooperation, accommodation, assimilation and adjustment etc. Negatively, the disintegrative processes of social interaction such as conflict, maladjustment etc. should be removed. All this involves social education.
