It emphasizes that the tribals are now, not satisfied by mere quantification of funds but aspire for concrete results, effective participation in decision making process, close association in implementation of programmes concerning them and their own leadership in the areas having dominant tribal population. There is need for serious review of the policy adopted for their development. Recalling the famous words of Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru, the First Prime Minister of India.
