ABOUT THE AUTHOR Jaydipsinh K. Dodiya

Jaydipsinh Dodiya teaches at Surekhaben Hasmukhbhai Gardi Department of English and comparative literary studies, Saurashtra University, Rajkot (Gujarat). He has edited some books on Indian writing in English. His publications include The Plays of Girish Karnad, The Fiction of Shobha De, Critical Perspectives on Indian English Poetry, The Fiction of Rohinton Mistry, The Fiction of Anita Desai etc. Indian English fiction is the area of his special interest. Currently he is working on a project with a focus on Parsi novelists Rohinton Mistry, Bapsi Sidhwa, Firdaus Kanga and Famikh Dhondy. Recently, he visited Sri Lanka, Thailand, Singapore and Malaysia in connection with his academic pursuits.
