ABOUT THE AUTHOR P C Katoch

Lt Gen PC Katoch is a retired Director General, Information Systems (DGIS) of the India Army and erstwhile Colonel of the Special Forces and Parachute Regiment. He has also served at the Udhampur-based Northern Command that is responsible dor guarding Jammu and Kashmir. Katoch had also commanded a unit during the Indian Peace Keeping Force (IPKF) operations in Sri Lanka in the 1980s with the later as his second-in-command.
