India presents a bewildering variety of contradictions and some of these are manifest and sharp more in the domain of Indian education. This volume takes a look at these contradictions and the resultant inequality that plagues Indian education. Subsumed under inequality in Indian education are three broad themes which this volume addresses to itself.
