ABOUT THE AUTHOR S.A. Huda
The author is working as Inspector General of Police at Hyderabad. He has put in 25 years of service in the IPS. On deputation with the Govt. of India, he has worked in the Intelligence Bureau, as PS to Minister for Food Processing Industries and then in the Finance Ministry during 1990-94, first as Deputy Secretary and then as Director. He was IG from 1999-2002 before moving on to present assignment as Director in the Vigilance and Enforcement Dept. He is a graduate of the Defence Services Staff College, Wellington, has undergone training with the Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP) at Vancouver, British Columbia, Ganada and the Colombo Plan Course in U.K. He has also been a Fellow of the United nations Fund for Drug Abuse Control (UNFDAC) and the British Council.
