A significant feature of the Indian economy since independence is the rapid growth of the small industry sector. This sector plays a pivotal role in the economy in terms of number of units, employment, production and its growth has recorded a high rate since independence, in spite of stiff competition from the large scale sector. Hence, this sector has emerged as a dynamic and vibrant sector of the economy. There are so many books on various aspects on the working of small scale industry. But only a few books focus their attention on the financial aspects of the industry. This book is an attempt to fill this gap.
