The subject of this book is of utmost importance to a Homeopath. Innumerable books have been written dealing with different subjects in medicine. But I find that no one has ventured for an exhaustive treatise dealing with roundworm troubles. A child may grow to adolescence without having an attack of measles or whooping-cough or small-pox or chicken-pox or rickets. But a child who has not suffered the attack of intestinal worms till it became an adolescent is rare. This fact brings out clear that the worm attack is an important subject. Considering all of its aspects, it is not only one of the most important, but probably the most interesting of the affections of children. The author has published a series of medical articles in a very popular Malayalam Daily ‘Veekshanam’. In 1977 an article on round-worm was published which interested the readers much. Those readers and some of my friends were major factors in the development of this book. To every reader this book can bring greater knowledge and understanding more about the affections of intestinal worms and its cure. My labour will be amply rewarded if this book will prove beneficial to the lovers of Homoeopathy. All criticism of this book will be accepted gratefully by the author and will be taken into account in his further work.
