This attempt is to explain the concept of the theory of Boehmians, which is the generalization of the Schwartz theory of distribution. ABOUT THE AUTHOR P.K. Banerji

Dr. P.K. Banerji, Associate Professor of Mathematics in the Department of Mathematiucs, J.N.V. University, Jodhpur (India), has earned his Ph.D. in 1970 from the then University of Jodhpur. His research interests are Genealized Functions, Integral Transforms and Fractional Calculus, he has completed six research projects of UGC, CSIR, and DST. He is teaching at the JNV university for the last twenty nine years and, has 120 research publications in national and international journals of repute.
