Islam is basically a scientific religion. It binds followers to master, the contemporary sciences and all the disciplines of knowledge. Therefore, naturally, the Muslims in all ages in early centuries, in particular–have contributed a lot to promotion and development of science and technology in their times. This study discusses Muslim scientists’ great contribution to scientific inventions and new researches. It covers the progress of science under Islam over the centuries and examines the future prospects also. And it makes it a worthwhile work.
