The book makes an attempt to construct the Epistemology of Terrorism through a historical analysis of ninety years of India, from 1857 to 1940 through the writings and speeches of intellectuals with separatist ideas, mostly Muslim intellectuals. The general western, epistemology, which focuses more on differences may result in separatism. This is contrasted against India epistemology of co-existence. This book begins the Constructing Indian Epistemology Series, as the first book.

ABOUT THE AUTHOR T.S. Girishkumar

T.S. Girishkumar was born on May 11, 1956 and belongs to a family of freedom fighters and soldiers, with his grandfather winning Tamrapatra in the very first list posthumously. Following the family tradition, he joined the Indian Air force and served the nation with the prime of youth for eleven years. Then he joined the Womens College, Shillong, as lecturer of Philosophy. From there he joined the Don Bosco College, Tura, as Head of the Department of Philosophy to establish a Philosophy Department there. Further, he joined the Mahatma Gandhi University, Kottayam, Kerala and was the Director of the School of Social Sciences. At present, he is Professor and Head of the Department of Philosophy at the Maharaja Sayajirao University of Baroda, Vadodara.
