‘Jnana Bhaisajya Manjari’ is an unique text written by Shri Pandith Dattarama. He was the son of Mathura Krsna Lala. Was belonging to the city Mathura. As state by the author, the text was written in Vikramabdi 1952 and Sake 1818.
The text contains 82 slokas (verses). In the first verse author solutes his diety viz Lord Rama, Lord Siva and Lord Dhanwantari. In the last verse, the author says about the importance of the text. The starting colophon is ‘Shri Nikunja Viharine Namah’ i.e., I solute to, who is residing in a pleasant shady under trees.
In the ending colophon author gave his identification.
‘Lord Rama’ see to be the diety worshipped by Author. He stated Lord Rama throughout the text. Its representing the belief of the author and glory of the epic Ramayana. ‘Jnanabhaisajya Manjari’ is published Khemaraja Shri Krishnadasa Publication, Mumbai.
Its an unique text which narrated simple remedy for every disease with a life lesson also. Thus both aims of Ayurveda i.e.,Swasthya Raksana (Maintanace and promotion of health) and Vikara prasamana (Eradication of diseases) are achieved in this text.

He did his M.S. in Counseling and psychotherapy and certificate course on principals of clinical pharmacology. He is well versed in the field of literary research, counseling and Psychotherapy, Yoga and Ayurveda. He presented many scientific papers at various national and international seminars. He published many articles in national and international indexed journals. He is experienced in the field of translation, edition, original writing and critical analysis of Ayurvedic texts. He delivered many lectures at All India Radio related to different areas of Ayurveda. He is actively involved in various awareness and research programmes of Ayurveda. He contributed articles to many e books and well versed in the technology of framing e books. At present he is working as Assistant Professor in the Department of Samhita and Siddhanta, S.D.M. Dr. Shreevathsa, basically from Shimoga district, Karnataka state, is working in the department of Ayurveda Siddhanta-’-PG Studies, Govt. Ayurvedic Medical College, Mysore. He completed his HAMS from Govt. Ayurvedic Medical College, Mysore in 1996 with I completed his M.D. (Aw.) from l.PG.T. & R.A., Gujarat Ayurved University, Jamnagar in 2000, He is double Gold Medalist and ‘Rotary Pandit Ayurvedic Educational Awardees’. He completed RG. Diploma in Yoga and Vidwat (P) level in Karnatic music. He is practicing Yoga Chikitsa, Naada Chikitsa and Ayurveda Chikitsa.
