This book an idea about the process of accession of the state of jammu & kashmir to india initiated by pandit nehru who finally realized the importance of sheikh abdullah whom the indian government had igored & maligned by every possible way, brought him back to the seen & started reconciliation process.the process at different stages & levels got affected influenced by different incidents, like nehru’s death, sheikh abdula’s social boucott against congressme & his subsequent change of heart & mind towards india after bangladesh came into being.the process ended up with an agreement called kashmir accord arrived between sheikh abdullah government of india represented by mirza afzal beigh & mr. G. Parthavsarthi respectively in feb 1975. The recognition of article 370 which happens to be main point by accord was enough to silent sheikh abdullah against his 22 years long struggle.
