Dr. Rabindra Kumar Panda, the compiler and Editor of this book is a well-known scholar of Sanskrit. He is working as Reader in the Department of Sanskrit, Pali and Prakrit, M.S. University of Baroda. He has published 15 Books, 40 Research papers, 10 poem-collections, 2 story-collections, 2 Novels and 2 play-collections in Sanskrit.

ABOUT THE AUTHOR Suryakanta

DR SURYAKANTA (1901-1982) was educated at Gurukula, Calcutta, Lahore and Oxford. His brilliant scholastic career was matched by his careers as a teacher, writer and administrator. He taught at DAV college, Lahore, Banaras Hindu University where he was Mayurbhanj Professor and Head of the Departments of Sanskrit and Pali. Moving to Kurukshetra University which he himself had helped set up, he taught there till 1969 when he retired. Dr Suryankant is known as the author of several significant works in Sanskrit and Hindi. He is also responsible for the translation of the Constitution of India into Hindi. He authored over thirty books and monographs in Hindi, and some in English as well.
