But benefits realization in this process is limited by the country’s competitiveness in the global market. India initiated this process in 1991 through its approach-Privatisation, Liberalisation and Globalisation-in the name of economic reforms. The common opinion is that these reforms adversely effect the employment opportunities and labour welfare. In this context, The National Seminar is organized and the themes present are brought into this book form. This book is a unique compliation of 34 research articles and is highly for academicians, researchers, administrators and policy makers.
