The present book titled “Lean Six Sigma” is divided into two sections. The first section titled Introduction” discusses the concept of lean six sigma. The benefits and limitations arise by combining both lean and six sigma. It further helps in understanding similarities and differences between lean and six sigma. The effective road map for deploying lean six sigma and how lean six sigma is used in streamlining enterprise records management are also discussed in this book. The second section titled Applications” contains experiences of different industries in implementing lean six sigma. It further contains articles of companies like Lockheed Martin and Dabbawallahs in implementing these methodologies and how they have achieved drastic results.

ABOUT THE AUTHOR E. Mrudula

E. Mrudula holds PGDBA in finance from the ICFAI Business School, Hyderabad. She is currently working as an Associate Consultant at ICFAI Books, an affiliate of the ICFAI University. She has been a regular contributors of articles and case studies to various publications of ICFAI University Press.
