ABOUT THE AUTHOR Amit Goel

Amit goel, a well-known teacher of Mathematics, has been teaching mathematics at the university level for more than fifteen years. He earned his B.S. in Mathematics education in 1980 and his M.S. in Mathematics in 1982. He conceived of a number of unique teaching strategies that supports the standards of mathematics. His current research interests are the mathematical dialogue that occurs during teacher colaborations. He has published about 40 research papers in many journals and authored a number of outstanding books on mathematics. He has given more than 25 invited lectures/workshops at a variety of conferences. As a professor, h is first love is teaching, for which he has received a number of awards at national, state, and local levels.
