Dr. (Mrs.) Shantha N. Nair worked as Reader and Head of the Department of Economics, Sri Padmavathi Women College run by the Tirumula Tirupathi Devasthanams at Tirupathi. She obtained her postgraduate degree and Ph.D. in Economics from the Sri Venkateshwara University, Tirupathi, Andhra Pradesh, India. She served as Chair Person, Board of Studies of Sri Venkateshwara University. She has guided research students for the Ph.D degree in Economics of Sri Venkateshwara University. She was the course writer for Economics of Sri Venkateshwara University Correspondence Course. She has articles published in subject journals to her credit. At present she is a member in the panel of Experts in the Review Project - India, which reviews latest and outstanding books, published.
