Learning Readiness

The participation of the learners in the learning process is a pre-requisite of effective learning. The successful teacher readies his learners before giving the delivery of the learning material. A teacher makes use of questions and answers method as well as the use of audiovisual aids. Also the teacher tries to make out the existing level of knowledge, skills and attitudes of the learners of his class. It is even believed that learning readiness is the touch-stone of the teaching methodology. Many experiments have been conducted especially in America and also in National Council of Educational Research and Training in India on learning readiness.
