ABOUT THE AUTHOR Shabahat Husain

The Author Shabahat Husain presently Professor & Chairman of Department of Library and Information Science, Aligarh Muslim University, Aligarh, has also worked at the university of Maiduguri, Nigeria from 1980-83 and Loughbrough University of Technology, England in 1992/93. He has put up 27 years of teaching experience so far and has written and published at the National and International level. Some of his publications have appeared in reputed Journals titled ‘International forum for Information and documentation’ (Now, Journal of Knowledge Organization). He has presented papers at the ‘Fifth International Study Conference on Classification Research’ held at Toronto in 1991 and the ‘46th F.I.D. conference and Congress’ held at Madrid in 1992, besides presenting a paper at the ‘International Seminar on Online Financial Information systems’, held at Madrid. He has served as a member of various national level committees of UGC and professional organizations in India and abroad.
