ABOUT THE AUTHOR J.L. Tarar

Dr. J.L. Tarar, the former Head, Department of Environmental Science, Institute of Science, Nagpur, made noteworthy contributions to the field of Botany and Environment. One hundred thirty-six research papers have been published in National and International Journals. He guided over 25 students for their Ph.D. Programme. Travelled widely in India and abroad, Dr. Tarar chaired International Conferences and organised quite a few. He is the Chairman of Global Ecofriendly Environmental Management Society (GEEMS).

ABOUT THE AUTHOR S. Muthukumar

Dr. S. Muthukumar received his Ph.D. in Botany (Lichenology) from Rashtra Sant Tukdoji Maharaj Nagar University, Nagpur in 2000. He was a scientist at National Environmental Engineering Research Institute (NEER), Nagpur. Presently, he is pursuing research on Lichens of Marathwada Region. He has contributes 30 research papers in National and International Journals. He is the member of International Lichenological Society, New York and Bryological Society, London. He is also an international Inspector in Organic Certification Programme for ECOCERT SA, Germany.
