Life and Works of Jayaprakash Narayan

ayaprakash Narayan always engaged himself for social cause solving and mediating various burning problems faced by India during his life-time such as Chinese invasion, Naga dispute, Indo-Pak war, Naxal Movement, Kashmir problem, Bangladesh crisis and surrender of dacoits of Chambal ravines. He remained socialist throughout his life and took active part in Bhoodan, Gramdan and Sarvodaya Movements. He was considered a brain behind the policies of Congress party but soon after differing with Congress party he founded a new party namely Congress socialist party to implement its policies. In this book, it has been attempted to throw light on the life and works, as mentioned above, of Jayaprakash Narayan who was commonly known as JP also. It is hoped that the book will be found very interesting and informative to the readers in general.
