This book presents all information related to Vedic Sanskrit and Comparative Philology in vary clear terms being largely guided by the author’s own experience at teaching at the Dacca and Calcutta Universities. At present in India the mediaeval commentaries are taught in the name of the Vedas and hardly ant attention is paid to the texts themselves.
