Worth of a person and individual differences need to be considered in this regard. The human asset accounting perspective of management gives due importance to such factors. An employees individual personality make-up and the way of perceiving the work situation are important determinants of his performance. A modest attempt has been made in this study to determine the psychological factors which influence the employees job performance. This and further researches in this field can provide the managers with an additional tool helpful in selection and placement of personnel and developing various work design strategies.
