Library Information System has a major impact on functioning of a library. Managing the information technology-based services assumes an important role within the library. The way technology is implemented and managed is as important as technology itself. To exploit the growing potential of information technologies, libraries need necessary infrastructure to communication networks, application software, internal data, access to external information resources, and knowledgeable employees to manage this new tool.
