ABOUT THE AUTHOR S.K. Palhan

Prof. S.K. Palhan is an engineering gradute from IIT Kharagpur, with an MBA from FMS, Delhi University. He has also undergone advanced training in industrial management from the Netherlands. He has closely supervised the formulation and implementation of industrial and R & D projects for the past 25 years. He was formerly Industrial Advisor in the Ministry of Industries, Govt. of India. He has taught project management as well as production and operations management to MBA students in leading institutions. He is the Founder-Director of Sri Sringeri Sharada Institute of Management, which conducts PGDBM courses. He has travelled widely in India, Japan, China and Southeast Asian countries as well as in Europe and America on various technological missions.
