Kewal Anand is journalist by training and profession and a noted social activist raising various socio-economic issues, has been operational in backward regions of Central Himalayas (Uttarakhand). Also is consultant to leading NGO devoted for poverty alleviation and environmental protection in the region. Having a Masters's degree in sociology and political science alongwith a PG Diploma in Journalist and Mass Communication, he writes on contemporary issues. This book is his major published work. His recent book viz. Dynamics of Journalism in Historical Perspective has won him wide acclaim.
