ABOUT THE AUTHOR S.D. Trivedi

Dr. S.D. Trivedi, an alumnus of University of Allahabad, did his early schooling in Varanasi and advanced studies in U.K. He has taught at several universities in Canada & U.K. Now at 58, Dr. Trivedi spend most of his time in writing and guiding research scholars.

ABOUT THE AUTHOR U.C. Dwivedi

Dr. U.C. Dwivedi was recipient of the Patna University Gold Medal for having topped the list of successful candidates in first class in M.A. in 1972. At present, he is Curator of Ranchi Museum, Jharkhand. Dr. Dwivedi has contributed extensively on ancient Indian art and iconography in research journals. He got his Ph.D. on 'Female Deities in Ancient Indian Art' which is in the press.
