Microbiology and Biotechnology: A Laboratory Manual

Microbiology and biotechnology are the two important practical oriented subjects in the biology curriculum. Observation, study and experimentation are the basic needs for these subjects. Prof. P.T. Kalaichelvan, based on his experience of over two decades has made an excellent effort to bring out this volume on basic experiments that are required to be carried out by all students who study these subjects. Experiments in microbiology include counting of microbes, identification of bacteria, culturing and isolation of microbes, enzyme production and immobilization techniques.
