G S Roonwal, is formerly professor in Geology University of Delhi, is currently Honorary Visiting Professor at the Inter University Accelerator Centre, New Delhi. He has long experience in the field of mineral exploration, assessment, environment and economic assessment of mineral deposits."

ABOUT THE AUTHOR G S Roonwal

Ganpat S. Roonwal, a PhD from the Aachen University of Germany, is a Professor in the Department of Geology, University of Delhi and is also the Founder-Director of the University’s Center for Geo-Resources. He is a world-renowned geologist, life member of the Indian Association for Canadian Studies and a member of the Academic Advisory Committee of the Centre for Canadian Studies of the University of Delhi.
