Niresh Kanitkar obtained his B.E. (Engg.) degree (Mining and Metallurgical) from Regional Engineering College, Rourkela (Orissa). Presently he is teaching students of Mine Planning and Mechanisation. He has published over 25 research papers in reputed international and national journals and has authored three books. He has authored three books. He has extensively travelled in Asia, Africa and Europe for academic work.
