ABOUT THE AUTHOR P Neerajakshulu Naidu

Dr. Pathipati Neerajakshulu Naidu obtained his M.A. and Ph.D., degrees in Ancient History and Archaeology from S.V. University in 1975 and 1985 respectively. He has been honoured with " The Best Teacher Award" by the S.V. University in 2010.Presently, he is working as a Professor in the Department of Ancient Indian History, Culture and Archaeology, S.V. University, Tirupati. He has served the University in  various capacities as Head of the Department, Chairman, P.G. Board of Studies, Coordinator of P.G. Diploma in Epigraphy and Principal, College of International Studies, S.V. University during 2006-2008. He has participated in more than 60 Seminars, Conferences and Workshops and presented several research papers. He is a good researcher, successfully guided 13 M.phil and 5 Ph.D. scholars. He has authored four books and edited the present volume related to the Minor Hindu Deities in Andhra Pradesh.
