ABOUT THE AUTHOR Nagindra Mohan Kachroo

Nagindra Mohan Kachroo, was born in Jammu & Kashmir in the year 1919 to a Kashmiri Brahmin family. He is a Science graduate from the erstwhile University of Punjab way back in 1939. After his long dedicated service, he retired in the year 1978 and migrated to Canada with his wife to settle with his children who were already there. Mr. Kachroo has since been there when he lost his wife in the Kanishka air crash in 1985. Such a tragic event made him pen down his inner feelings of grief and sorrow which is portrayed very well in his book of collection of short stories “Moments of Melancholy” and collection of his self composed poems "Weeping Willows".
