Moral and Value Education

The history of moral education and value education is not very old. Over the recent past. These paralleled social history during the same period. Since there is a similar history during the same period. Since there is a similar opinion among parents, religions and the society regarding values and morality, value education consisted of the traditional methods to inculcate and to model it. Schools took their roles in value education and children exhorted or advised to be prompt, neat and polite to work hard to succeed, to respect other’s property and in shot to behave themselves. Sometimes disorderly or riotous period also came inbetween when the younger generation seriously questioned and in many cases rejected the traditional roles and value. Social revolution in human history changed and widespread new attitudes toward ad experimentation with humans, religion, career options, lifestyles, and personal values. Thus both value education and moral education went.
