The Government of India had adopted a confused policy regarding the multinationals since independence. The industrial policy resolution, 1991 has adopted a clear policy regarding the multinationals. Foreign capital has been invited, Several years have passed, but we could not attract the multinationals in adequate proportion. Capital inflow of multinationals in China is still about 15 times higher in comparison to India. This book has identified the limiting factors in way of multinationals in India.
