ABOUT THE AUTHOR Kahkashan Y. Danyal

Dr. Kahkashan Y. Danyal was born in the walled city of Delhi. She completed her schooling from St. Anthony's School, New Delhi with 'First Division'. Later she did her B.Sc. Hons. (Botany) from Miranda House, University of Delhi New Delhi. Apart from other subjects, she has been teaching Muslim Law from 1994 onwards and the topic of Muslim Women has always been very close to her heart. She has delivered invitation lectures at several prestigious forums as well as authored articles published in reputed Journals on the topic of Muslim Women.
