ABOUT THE AUTHOR Suhas Chakravarty

Suhas Chakravarty (b. 1950) obtained a Master's degree in Sociology form the University of Delhi and a post-graduate diploma in creative arts from the J.J. School of Arts, Mumbai. He has taught film and television courses as well as communications and journalism students for over twelve years. He has written widely for professional communications journals and has also conducted workshops in folk and folk arts film production for several film and television academies. He is co-owner of Nexus Films, which have produced over thirty short films and documentaries for national networks.
