Two neurologists who have focused their lifetime efforts to help headache and migraine patients explain preventive management methods and share complete information on up-to-date treatment options available. The suggestions given in the book will not only help in reducing the frequency, severity, and duration of headaches, but in many case, even eliminate them. The book covers recent advances in medicine and sophisticated control techniques. It also examines the role and importance of complimentary and non-medical therapies; homoeopathy, acupuncture, diathermy, massage, hypnosis, and breathing techniques. The book aids a better understanding of the problems that accompany headaches and includes recommendations for daily living. It explains how certain changes in lifestyle: better nutrition, a little more exercise, a relaxed attitude, coupled with appropriate treatment, can control, reduce, and even eliminate the pain.
