Te evolution was based on the research study conducted at the university of madras, which awarded the Doctorate of Philosophy. The book may also help women rights activists and victimologists to broaden their wisdom on the difficulties experienced by the women police, victims/complaints, witnesses and accused while interacting with the women police and also help to the loopholes through the Administrations and Legislators.

ABOUT THE AUTHOR A.P. Mohmed Ali

A.P. Mohamed Ali is hailing from a town panchayat, Ilayanagudi, Sivaganga DT, Tamil Nadu, India, which was also the birth place of the Great Saivite Saint, Maran Nayanar. He was born on 15.06.1946 to the illustrious parents late A. Peer Mohamed and S. Kader Bibi. He is married to Mrs. Methar John Begam and blessed with 2 daughters and 2 sons, who are well settled in abroad. He did his schooling at his native place, graduation at new College and Post-Graduation at presidency College, Chennai. He worked as a Lecturer K.M. College, Ahiramoattnam between 1971 to 1974. He joined in the police force as DSP in 1975 and rose to the rank of DIG in 2000. he was awarded the prestigious President Police Medal for Meritorious service in 2000.
