His book is the collection of a few articles of Prof. Sinha which have been published in various journals and books of both of academic nature as well as of general importance. Majority of them have been presented in various session of Indian Philosophical Congress and World Philosophers’ Meet. Besides these a few articles have been added. The author seems to be inclined towards pactical and dynamic approach to philosophy, which is needed to control and cure the malady of the age prevalent at different levels. So, he highlights the necessity of applied philosophy in his various articles. Some articles are also concerning religion and there also the same approach is obvious. In another article the cordial relationship between science and religion has been also made out. Again articles like the Swadharma of the Householder in the Modern Context, Women’s Empowerment: The Vedantic Perspective, forms of Democracy and Towards a Holistic Approach in Philosophy are of profound practical importance and relevant in the present age. Besides these articles, some articles like Indian Philosophy, Linguistic Analysis and Metaphysicsa, The Future of Metaphysics etc. Show the technical approach of the author. In fact, all these articles are useful from academic point of view as well as are interesting, illuminating and inspiring for general readers as well.
