Max Charlesworth was formerly Professor of Philosophy at Deakin University, Australia, and is the author of a number of books on the philosophy of religion, including St anselm's 'Proslogion', The Problem of Feligious Language and Religious Inventions. He is an expert on Australian Aboriginal religion,s and has edited a number of studies in this area.
