Nitin Suri, a renowned scholar of life sciences, has been working as an assistant professor since 1985.  He did his M. Sc. in Botany in 1977 and Ph. D. in 1984 on cell biology.  He is a recipient of many awards and scholarship all through his college years.  Many students obtained their Ph. D. under his guidance, many more are still working for their Ph. D. under his supervision.Dr. Suri is the member of many national and international scientific societies.  He has worked international scientific societies.  He has worked extensively on plant biotechnology, tissue culture and gene introductions. The continuity of his research in the field of biotechnology has earned him recognition throughout the country.  Many of his research articles are published in reputed national and international journals.  He has authored / edited many books and is also working with esteemed science journals.
