ABOUT THE AUTHOR B.C. Sabata
Dr. Binod Chandra Sabata obtained his M.Sc. and M.Phil. in Botany from Berhampur University, Orissa. He has worked as research scholar at Botanical Survey of India, Howrah. He was awarded Ph.D. in 1989. At present, he is lecturer in Botany at Jawaharlal Nehru (Govt.) College, Pasighat, Arunachal Pradesh. He has published a number of fresearch papers in national and international journals, including a book on ‘River Pollution’. He has visited Switzerland under UNESCO travel grant. His areas of interest include environmental science, floristics, conservation of rare species through biotechnology, ethnobotany and aqualic flora.
