ABOUT THE AUTHOR Sonia Ahuja

Dr. Sonia Ahuja is Professor of Plant Pathology at the Bangalore University, Bangalore. She received his B.Sc. in Chemistry in 1985 and Ph.D. (Biochemistry) in 1991 at the University of Wisconsin. She has research interests in structure genetics and classification of plant virus, gel electrophoretic and associated methods. She is visiting Professor of Jadavpur University, Calcutta. She is Professor of Plant Ecology and Taxonomy, Head of the Department of Botany, and Director of the HBM Institute, Calcutta. She is also Faculty of Science, Baghdad, Iraq. Formerly Fielding Curator and Keeper of the University Herbaria of Harvard and Yale Universities. She has contributed articles in various journals and magazines of national repute. She has also participated in various national and international conferences.
