Policies of Public Administration

For providing good governance and efficient public civil service policies of public administration is a very vital component. In India, we often neglect a sound policy for public administration. The age old policies laid down by our colonial masters some one hundred fifty years ago still guide and rule us. We are hide bound to those outdated, outmoded policies, and we are reluctant to learn from other countries, improve the existing ones, or even innovate some new policies. With the advent of globalization, IT revolution and communication revolution, we are in dire need of making our public administration world standard. This book offers deep insights into what is wrong and what should be done at present and for the future.
