Political Evolution of Feudatory States in Orissa

This study deals with the constitutional and political evolution in Patna State, a premier Princely state in Orissa. Alongwith highlighting the systematic development of the various organs of government in the state it traces the history of the state since its establishment till the merger to the Indian Union in 1948. Also, the book gives a clear idea about the Civil Service, Praja Mandal Movement and Independence Movement in the state during the hey day of its existence.
