ABOUT THE AUTHOR Poonam Vats

Poonam Vats did her B.A. in Psychology (Hons.) from Delhi University in 1992. She did her M.A. in Psychology from M.D. University, Rohtak in 1994. She obtained her B.Ed. degree from Kurukshetra University in 1995. She obtained another M.A degree in Journalism and Mass Communication from Kurukshetra University in 1996. She received her Ph.D. degree from Jamia Millia Islamia University in 2002. She has been first divisioner throughout and won various gold medals during her academic career. She also worked as Headmistress in one of the reputed Public School and as an editor for a medical magazine. She was among the best teachers to be awarded by Lions Club on teachers’ day in 2000 at state level. Currently, she is practising as a counselor.
