ABOUT THE AUTHOR Tapan Banerjee

Dr. Tapan Banerjee earned his M.A. (history) and Ph.D. on “The Role of Subhash Chandra Bose in Freedom Movement in Bengal” from Calcutta University, Kolkata. A seasoned teacher and a keen researcher, Dr. Banerjee taught modern history at graduate level for two decades and devoted most of his time in research works. He also participated and presented research papers in many national and international seminars, workshops and conferences. Presently, he is a freelance feature writer in Kolkata.
